Scotland

Welcome to the homepage of the EAUC-Scotland Office!

The Scotland Office was first opened in 2008, with it's main focus being to create stronger ties and better relationships between Scottish colleges, universities and stakeholders in the area of environment and sustainable development.

Primarily funded through the Scottish Funding Council, the core work of the team centres around our current 3 year Programme running from April 2017 to March 2020, Catalysing Transformative Leadership for Sustainability.

The Programme involves a number of focused projects, alongside a general commitment to:

  • represent the further and higher education sector in a variety of forums throughout Scotland
  • provide training courses and networking opportunities
  • support the sector with monitoring and reporting their carbon emissions
  • keep everyone updated on current issues
  • manage other projects to enhance sustainable development in Scottish institutions

Our office is based at Queen Margaret University, just outside of Edinburgh.
