EAUC Scotland Programme 2023-2024

EAUC Scotland’s Mission is to inspire, empower and support leadership and collaborative action for sustainability across the Scottish further and higher education (FHE) sector. Our new programme ‘Supporting a step-change towards environmental sustainability at Scotland's Universities and Colleges’ will continue to support this mission, running from April 2023 to March 2024, and will build upon our previous outcome agreement work with the Scottish Funding Council, and on behalf of the Scottish further and higher institutions.

Over the next 6 months EAUC Scotland will focus on: 

• Launching a Network Communications Pack to enable institutions and key contacts to better promote EAUC-Scotland opportunities to internal staff and student communities; 
• Launching a Sustainability Champions toolkit to improve sustainability knowledge and understanding within institutional sustainability steering and working groups; 
• Facilitating workshops with key stakeholders aimed increasing understanding of drivers of aviation within the FHE section and opportunities for action; 
• Launching a new sustainability careers guide, including resources for Career Services teams on greenwashing; 
• Delivery of Spring and Autumn Topic Support Network series.
