Welcome to our new Legal Spotlight section of the Resource Bank!

With the Government’s current interest in the environment and all things ‘green’, the legislation that affects the further and higher education sector is changing all the time. With new Acts of Parliament, changing regulations and updates to guidelines, it is hard for anyone to keep track but knowing how to comply is a must.

How do you know when there is an update or if a new piece of legislation comes into force that affects you? Keeping track of the workings of Government can be a laborious task at the best of times, particularly for busy sustainability staff.

We have created this new section of the resource bank to capture all our legal updates. It holds all our previous Legal Spotlight features in one place, making them easily accessible to all our Members.

Information for the Legal Spotlight is provided by Revise and is to the best of their knowledge. Always remember that legislation is not only extensive but is frequently updated, amended, superseded and new items introduced. It does not constitute professional legal advice and in all cases, where you intend to give an opinion or act on the content expressed here, you should first obtain such advice.

Revise is a sustainability consultancy, training and software development company that specialises in working with the FHE sector. Thier new hybrid software and mentoring approach helps sustainability professionals to ‘Learn, Comply and Improve’, making you more effective at what you do! Find out about more at www.revisesustainability.com and their software platform at www.cloudsustainability.com.
