Higher education institutions (HEIs) and further eduaction (FE colleges) are facing unprecedented changes, which are challenging approaches to learning, teaching and assessment. Higher Education Academy (HEA) change services have been developed to help institutions, faculties and departments to adapt to these changes thereby enhancing learning and teaching. Through change services we have worked with 90 universities and colleges and 700 staff to date to help bring about enhancements that have lasting and positive impact for students.

Details of change services and dates of new change programmes for 2012-13 are available now to download from the HEA website. The programmes are open to teams from both the UK and international higher education providers.

Change programmes running during 2012-13 will be;

  • Retention and success - Launch: September 2012
  • Recognising teaching excellence (ReTE) - Launch: September 2012
  • Using data to improve student experience and inform student choice in the disciplines programme - Launch: October 2012
  • Green Academy - Launch: October 2012
  • Flexible learning - Launch: November 2012
  • Evidence-informed quality improvement programme (EQUIP) - Launch: May 2013
