  • Learn more about the benefits of participating in the sustainable ICT project (see overleaf for details, including free consultancy)
  • Network with peers from other universities and colleges who are interested in IT environmental issues in general, and in particular, printing.
  • Gain a better understanding of measures which can reduce the environmental impacts of printing, and to hear about examples of their implementation from universities and colleges.

Numbers will be limited to enable interaction, and attendees will have a chance to briefly describe their own initiatives within this area. The presentations will include discussion of:

  • Print Management and Associated Consolidation of Printing Devices : Mark Harris from Canon.
  • Behavioral Change to Reduce Printing : Felicity Swaffer from Alexi Marmot Associates.
  • Sustainable Printing : A success story :The University of Limerick’s 32% reduction in A4 paper use, Nicola Hogan.
