Meet the Convenors: Kirsti Norris and Matt Green
Kirsti Norris, Carbon Action Manager at UWE has ten years experience in sustainability in the FHE sector in the south west, having previously worked in environmental management and CSR in the corporate sector. Kirsti’s current focus is on engaging staff using consumption data to reduce carbon emissions at UWE. Kirsti has been an active member of EAUC for many years and has experience in facilitating sustainability workshops.
Matt Green is Head of Catering & Retail Services at South Devon College & is the Sustainability Lead for the College. He chairs a sustainability group that looks at cross college activity linked to learners, support staff & curriculum engagement. Matt’s current focus is raising awareness of the Sustainable Development Goals & both new, ongoing initiatives to raise awareness of the overall sustainability agenda.

How to search for previous discussions
We know that there are many topics that come up regularly on the discussion networks so here is a quick and easy guide on how to search for previous discussions:
1. Go to https://www.jiscmail.ac.uk/ and click on ‘Subscribers Corner’
2. Click on the discussion network you would like to search – ‘EAUC-SWRegion’ is the list for this Discussion Network
3. The three ‘Latest messages’ are shown in a box near the top of the page. Click the message to read the entire post.
4. To search the list for a particular topic use the 'Search Archive' box on the right-hand side of the screen. Type the keyword/s you would like to search for and this will bring up a list of all posts containing that word/phrase.
5. You can further refine your search by adding parameters.
