COP26 and the Scottish FHE Sector - Initial Ideas Meeting

Date 4 February 2020 10:30 - 12:30
Venue University of Strathclyde Business School

**Bookings have now closed for this event as it is full. We are currently trying to get a larger room and if this is successful we will reopen the bookings. To be updated on this please email Scotland@eauc.org.uk and we will add you to the waiting list.

Scotland's Universities and Colleges would like to work together, supported by the EAUC, to mark the 2020 UN Climate Change Conference (UNFCCC COP 26) being held in Glasgow from the 9th-20th November 2020.

Join this Initial Ideas Meeting to help us explore what events, campaigns or activities the sector could do to mark this important opportunity. We might choose to highlight our sector's sustainability leadership, use it as an opportunity to learn from others around the world, work with partners to tell a wider Scottish story, take some sort of collective action - or all of the above!

Staff from all academic and professional support roles, and students from all departments, are very welcome to attend. You do not have to work in or study sustainability.

Please come along, bring your ideas and those from your colleagues or students, and help us plan a COP to remember!
