This short webinar delivered by Sarah Briggs, Keele's Sustainability Project Officer, will explore the first Schools Climate Summit held by Keele University in July 2019.

Building on the energy and passion of striking students from schools in the local area (driven by Keele students), the ESD team wanted to support teachers in giving their students a voice in climate action and dialogues.

The first Keele Schools Climate Summit welcomed students and teachers from local counties to explore the science behind key climate challenges, moving into exploring approaches for resilience and promoting student voice on climate change, culminating with a climate forum.

The webinar will provide a toolkit for other institutions interested in holding their own event, and reflections on changes that will be implemented for the 2020 Keele Schools Climate Summit.
