As you will be aware, HEFCE has launched a consultation aiming to encourage dialogue within the higher education sector on what more can be done to promote sustainable development. Find out more here.

As this is such a crucial issue for the sector, the EAUC will be responding to the HEFCE consultation to represent and provide a voice for its Members. To learn how you believe the EAUC should respond to this consultation, we would like to invite you to attend a live webinar that will be hosted by Iain Patton, EAUC CEO.

The aim of this webinar is to gauge your reaction to the consultation and understand how you as a sustainability leader believe we can take advantage of this opportunity to create a long lasting strategy and framework for everyone to aspire to. Output from the webinar will be used to frame our consultation approach to the wider EAUC Membership.

During the webinar, we will focus on a number of issues including:

• Is the HEFCE Framework up to the challenge?
• Have HEFCE missed anything significant out of the consultation?
• Are HEFCE asking the right questions in the consultation?
• How can we seize this opportunity to create a strategy suitable for all?
• Are there points you can make through the EAUC response that you can’t through your institution?
• What are your objectives from your own personal perspective?
• How should the EAUC be framing our approach to the wider Membership?

Iain will begin the webinar with an introduction to the consultation within the wider EAUC context. He'll then throw the discussion over to you, to help us understand how the power of the EAUC Membership voice can make an impact on this long awaited consultation.
