Learn how a Fruit Route can be integrated into University Strategies whilst supporting community engagement projects. Fruit Routes use edible planting including fruit and nuts encouraging campus foraging whilst using footpath and cycle paths. Cared for by people living and working near the route it provides enriched habitat for people, animals and insects as well as a location for cultural activities and outdoor learning. It will incorporate case study examples. With focus on the links between art, ecology, people and food, it will show how you can use these to bring communities together. Opportunity to explore how this project could be redeveloped and adapted in your own institution.
