The Green Gown Awards UK & Ireland, in association with UKRI, are delighted to present the 84 Finalists, representing 51 Institutions, all vying for a prestigious Green Gown Award.

Their work is helping us to meet the challenge of ensuring environmental sustainability is an inherent part of research and innovation excellence.”
Fiona Goodwin, CEO (Interim), EAUC – The Alliance for Sustainability Leadership in Education and delivery partner for the Awards, “We are delighted to announce our 84 Finalists for 2022. We look forward to sharing their stories over the coming months and we are excited to be able to return to a physical Ceremony in November and we hope to see many of you there. We are proud to be working in partnership with UKRI and our supporters to again share these excellent initiatives from universities and colleges. See you in November!”
All Finalists are invited to submit their Stage 2 submissions and Winners will be announced at the Green Gown Awards Ceremony which will take place at Loughborough University on 8 November 2022.
Over the coming months we will be showcasing our Finalists' projects, their top 3 learnings and how their projects link to the UN SDGs. Watch this space!
