Université Laval’s 2030 climate trajectory

Finalist, 2030 Climate Action

About

For many years, Université Laval has been a university leader in sustainable development and the fight against climate change. Its actions revolve around a set of core concepts: Measure, Reduce, Compensate, Adapt, Collaborate, and Inspire.

As part of its efforts to transform and intensify its practices, Université Laval adopted the Trajectoire 2030 en action climatique (2030 trajectory for climate action). This innovative, holistic, and integrated approach is aimed at mitigating climate change; seeking and sharing knowledge; and mobilizing the community to support, facilitate, and promote climate action. It also aims to make all climate-related actions more cohesive and coherent, increase synergies, create ripple effects, accelerate transformation, and increase positive social impact.
