About
The “Facilita Cidadão: Guidance for Micro-Entrepreneurs” project promotes productive inclusion by providing free accounting, fiscal, and managerial guidance to micro-entrepreneurs (MEIs) and individuals undergoing business formalization. Developed by the Accounting Sciences program through a curricular extension project, it operates through individual consultations, workshops, outreach activities, and community events, strengthening economic autonomy and fiscal citizenship among socially vulnerable groups. The initiative addresses challenges such as informality, non-compliance, and low financial literacy, contributing to the sustainability of small businesses and local development. Aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs 4 and 8), the project integrates teaching, research, and extension, generating measurable social impact, replicability, and strong community engagement.
