Volunteering and immersion project with local communities

Finalist, Benefitting Society

About

Leader in sustainable development, the 2iE Institute has launched a solidarity commitment project aimed at making a concrete contribution to the development of local communities and strengthening its regional presence. These projects benefit both communities by facilitating the implementation of development projects and students at the end of their studies to apply their knowledge in real contexts. This project was launched in 2010. and involves each semester undergraduate students (semester 6), master's students (semester 9), as well as students from master's programs specializing in WASH and On-site Sanitation (ANC). To date, more than 60 studies have been carried out in more than 140 villages spread across at least 15 municipalities in Burkina Faso.
