About
The project involves university students volunteering in educating public school students about essential legal rights of teenagers. The courses are conducted under faculty supervision and with prior training. As a sustainable education project, Street Law facilitates the cooperation between the schools and the institution.
The project helps to develop and improve the legal literacy of young people, as well as to form practical skills in solving legal problems. During the training sessions held within the framework of the project, volunteers in a simple, fluent language and in an interactive manner explain legal issues that schoolchildren may encounter in everyday life and their solutions. Moreover, school children get to bond on the topics, that are usually not discussed in a school or family settings.
Currently, 70 volunteer students, 30 professors, teachers, and more are contributing to improving the legal culture and legal awareness of young people in schools.
