About
The Sustainable Development Makers (SDMs) Program is a flagship student engagement initiative led by the Sustainable Development Office (SDO) at UM6P. It empowers students from diverse academic backgrounds to become active sustainability ambassadors, driving environmental and social impact across campus and beyond. Through capacity-building workshops, peer-to-peer learning, and hands-on project implementation, SDMs translate sustainability principles into tangible actions aligned with institutional priorities and global frameworks. The program enables students to design and deliver community-oriented initiatives addressing climate action, circular economy, responsible consumption, and social inclusion. It also demonstrates how structured student engagement can generate measurable impact while cultivating the next generation of responsible leaders committed to sustainable development.
