Student-Led Flood Relief and Free Medical Support Initiative

Finalist, Student engagement

About

Alpha TUF Welfare Society is a student-led initiative that responds promptly to flood emergencies across Pakistan, providing immediate relief to affected communities. With staff support, the society carried out flood relief and free medical initiatives in Binda Rasheed Pur (Jhang), Alipur and Jatoi (Muzaffargarh), Chiniot, and AIMS Educational School System (18 Hazari). Students managed logistics and distributed over 1,200 food packs, 250+ clothing items, 200+ ration bags, and 100 bedsheets, while facilitating medical checkups for more than 260 individuals. The initiative effectively combined student leadership with staff guidance to maximize outreach and impact. It not only delivered essential aid and healthcare services but also strengthened students’ leadership, teamwork, and communication skills. This project highlights the power of student engagement and collaboration in addressing real-world challenges while creating meaningful social impact and building strong connections with local communities.
