About

Achieving Net Zero uses innovative, visually engaging information graphics to broaden public understanding. Its original newspaper-style pop-up exhibition format bridges design, science and education. Research-led content, supported by academic collaboration, fosters critical thinking, curiosity and informed engagement among young people about Scotland’s net zero future.

Top 3 learnings

  1. We must translate complex Net Zero data into accessible formats to enable meaningful public engagement.
  2. Collaboration across disciplines creates stronger, more impactful sustainability outcomes.
  3. Visual communication can drive awareness, curiosity, and behavioural change in climate action.

What it means to win

The award would highlight the Universities commitment to sustainability, creativity, and education, while demonstrating how collaboration between education, industry, and communities can inspire meaningful conversations about Scotland’s journey towards net zero.
