About
“Be Loudly Brilliant” Transformation Projects (TP) are an agile way of working, driving momentum for sustainable mindsets, culture and systems change at Chesterfield College. Creating a systems led approach for all areas of operations has engaged 68% of our staff in projects and 100% of staff in cross college activities, transforming our approach to workforce development from isolated training to sustained, organisation wide change. It nurtures green passions and lifelong learning by embodying the skills, behaviours and mindsets needed to respond to evolving environmental, social, economic and operational challenges. “Be Loudly Brilliant” emerged after a DfE representative challenged us to move from being ‘quietly brilliant’ to confidently showcasing impact. In response, we adopted the TP model, to redesign both continuous professional development (CPD) and change management across all operations of the College.

What it would mean to win
To win a Green Gown Award would mean so much to us as the crux of the awards align so closely with what we strive to achieve as an organisation with all of our stakeholders, from students to employers and our own staff. The golden thread of sustainability is something that runs through every facet of what we do here so to receive recognition for what we've achieved and continue to strive for would really empower our staff to know just how amazing their hard work actually is and their efforts really do make the difference.
