Confirmations will be sent once you have booked your place. EAUC reserves the right to cancel the event if there are insufficient bookings in advance of the event.
Your contact details may be passed onto any partners or third parties related to this event. If you do not wish us to do so, please confirm in writing to us prior to the event date. Please refer to our privacy policy.
EAUC takes no responsibility or liability for travel and subsistence expenses incurred by delegates. It is therefore recommended that you book transferrable travel or wait to book travel until you are confident that the event is taking place.
Online events will be run via MS Teams or Zoom. Recording, transcription and chat functions may be enabled. Recordings, attendance records and minutes may be shared through EAUC channels. Artificial intelligence may be employed to create meeting notes.
If an event is cancelled due to insufficient paid bookings, event fees will be refunded in full. Cancellation of your booking will result in a 100% cancellation fee, regardless of whether the fee has already been received. Cancellation should be notified to us at info@eauc.org.uk.
Substitutions of attendees can be made up to one month prior to the event without incurring the cancellation charge. However, we cannot guarantee any changes in dietary or access requirements if the substitution is made less than 10 days before the event.
During online events, we may take screenshots, and record audio and video. We may also take photographs and record audio and video at physical events. Any subsequent photographs or recordings may be used in future EAUC publicity materials only. All video and audio recordings and photographs will remain the property of EAUC.
By booking an event, you are agreeing to the screenshotting or photographing and/or recording and/or filming of the proceedings, as described above, being made for future dissemination by EAUC and third parties within whom it works in partnership, for non-commercial purposes, under the terms of a Creative Commons attribution, non commercial licence 2.0 UK: England and Wales for the benefit of the higher and further education community.
If you wish NOT to be photographed or recorded, please let us know on arrival at a physical event or do not allow access to your webcam for an online event.
