This page has information for current signatories of the SDG Accord.
As we update our website, we have temporarily taken down the list of signatories. We will email all signatories when this list is available to view again.
If you'd like to check if your organisation is already a signatory, please email us: info@eauc.org.uk.
Since 2018, we have published an annual report tracking progress towards the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the Higher Education and TVET sector.
The data collected offers valuable insights into institutional actions worldwide, showcasing achievements while also highlighting common challenges and barriers.
Although each signatory’s sustainability journey is unique, the shared data and experiences foster cross-sector learning and collaboration.
You can view annual reports in our resources hub:
In 2026, we will not be conducting our usual annual survey of institutional signatories or collating case studies.
Instead we are pleased to share that EAUC is partnering with the International Association of Universities (IAU) on their latest global sustainability survey: Higher Education as a Catalyst for Sustainable Transformation (4th IAU HESD Survey).
This global survey is conducted every few years represents an important opportunity for SDG Accord signatories to contribute to a larger global dataset whilst also reducing survey duplication across the sector.
The final report will be published in early 2027.
Although participation is not mandatory, we strongly encourage signatories to take part. The deadline for responses is 30 April 2026.
Key points for SDG Accord signatories:
Institution eligibility: Universities, as well as colleges and adult learning institutions that are autonomous, accredited, and offer degree level or equivalent programmes, are eligible to participate The survey may not be suitable for vocational training providers that only offer short programmes, as some questions may not apply to their context. You may find it useful to read through the survey questions in advance and if you are uncertain whether your institution meets the eligibility criteria, you are welcome to contact IAU at hesd@iau.global for guidance
Institution response: Please only submit one coordinated institutional-level response to the survey. We recommend that someone with a someone with a leadership or coordination role related to sustainability oversees this
Preparation: To support internal consultation, the full instructions and survey questions are available in a PDF in three languages in English, French and Spanish
Completion time: The survey will take approximately 30 minutes to complete once information has been gathered. The survey can be paused and resumed if accessed from the same device
Tracking SDG Accord signatories: Please ensure “Signatory of the SDG Accord” is selected in Question 35 so that signatory responses can be tracked within the dataset
Data usage: Terms of data usage by IAU are clarified under Question 1. At the end of the survey you will also have the option to opt-in to receive follow-up communications related to the survey results if you wish.
Please visit IAU's website to access the survey form, full instructions and a copy of the survey questions (available in English, French and Spanish).
If you're institution is a current signatory, you can request updates to your contact information using this form.
At a minimum, we hold contact information for:
The senior leader (such as principal, vice-chancellor, chief executive) who has authorised signing the SDG Accord on behalf of the organisation
An optional secondary contact (such as a sustainability team member) at your institution
Both contacts will receive all mandatory requests and be provided with further information on how to update your institution records.
If you require any additional information please contact info@eauc.org.uk.
