About
BSDC’s Sustainability Annual Report underpins our wider sustainability journey and provides a transparent overview of progress towards our environmental commitments. Sustainability is a key pillar of our Adaptive Plan, and we have a clear ambition to become a Net Zero College by 2050. We are actively measuring our annual carbon footprint and using this evidence to inform targeted reduction activity and sustainability planning.
The report supports this approach by capturing progress across key areas, including estates, policy development, and curriculum delivery. It enables us to monitor environmental impact and drive continuous improvement across the organisation.
We focus on investing in our estate, strengthening sustainable policies and procedures, and reducing environmental impact across all operations. We also work with learners and staff to embed sustainability into everyday practice and behaviour.
