Chief Executive
Pronouns: she/her
Charlotte joined the EAUC team in February 2023 as CEO and is responsible for the strategic leadership of the organisation. She has over fifteen years’ leadership experience across membership and tertiary education organisations where she’s focused on business development, transformational engagement and policy and advocacy.
She lives in Scarborough and is happiest when on her bike, travelling overland or cooking for friends.
Deputy CEO
Pronouns: she/her
Fiona joined the team in November 2005 and is responsible for our business systems, managing our finances and office and our legal requirements. Fiona is also our company secretary.
Fiona enjoys spending her other time on gardening and walking around the Cornish coast.
Scotland Director
Pronouns: he/they
Matt joined the Scotland team in January 2020 and leads the strategic direction of the EAUC-Scotland team.
In their spare time Matt can often be found training for a adventure, daydreaming up new challenges or picking up some knitting needles.
Sustainability Programme Manager
Pronouns: she/her
Tove joined the team in December 2023 and manages a range of programmes, such as the Sustainability Leadership Scorecard, International Green Gown Awards, Race to Zero for Universities and Colleges and the SDG Accord.
Tove lives in Cardiff. Outside of work, she loves cooking, gardening and singing in a local choir but her main hobby is entertaining her very busy and mischievous spaniel!
Climate Ambassadors Partnerships Manager
Jane joined the team in January as our Climate Ambassadors Partnerships Manager. She leads the Department for Education Climate Ambassadors programme and Climate Action Planning Sector Engagement and Support Service (SESS) and helping institutions in producing unique Climate Action Plans.
Jane lives in Brighton.
Policy and Research Officer
Pronouns: she/her
As EAUC’s Policy and Research Officer, Bianca works with a range of stakeholders to develop evidence-based policy positions to embed sustainability in post-16 education.
In her spare time, she volunteers for the UN Association Scotland and enjoys a variety of hobbies: from forest walks and tennis to photography, baking and knitting. She is also keen to build on her French and Italian language knowledge and learn to make clothes from scratch!
Membership Training and Development Officer
Lisa leads on Carbon Literacy Training, the Leadership Lab and our annual conference. She also oversees the membership learning and development strategy. As a neurodivergent learner, she brings a unique perspective driven by curiosity, creativity and a passion for sourcing expert knowledge.
Outside of work, she finds joy in long walks, her garden, art and pottery, and baking (often with cheese involved, a self-declared guilty pleasure!). A passionate animal lover, she feels a special connection with horses, dogs, pigs, and parrots.
Administrative Support Officer
Aunee joined the team in March 2017 and provides crucial support to the whole team on a day-to-day basis
Aunee enjoys walking and yoga in her spare time.
Sustainability Projects Lead
Pronouns: she/her
Lara joined the Scotland team in August 2022 as Scotland Sustainability Project Officer. Her role involves running events and creating resources for our members, on topics such as transport, climate risk and biodiversity.
Outside of work, Lara enjoys gardening, walking, home DIY projects, plant-based cooking and board games, among other interests.
Project Officer - Green Gown Awards
Pronouns: she/her
Albina joined the team in January 2025 and is responsible for delivering the Green Gown Awards. She oversees all aspects of the awards programme including event logistics, stakeholder engagement, sponsorship coordination and nominee communications.
In her spare time, she likes to travel to other countries and learn about new cultures.
Sustainability Project Manager – Joint Sustainability Partnership
Rory joined the team in January 2022 as Sustainability Project Manager. He works across Borders College, Forth Valley College and Queen Margaret University. He is responsible for helping the institutions to deliver projects to reduce carbon emissions and to promote sustainable practices.
Outside of work Rory enjoys hill walking, camping, skiing and bouldering.
Senior Member Engagement Officer
Claire joined the team in November 2016 as our Member Engagement Officer. Claire supports members with their EAUC membership and manages the Regional and Communities of Practice groups. Claire is an accredited Carbon Literacy Trainer and has been delivering Carbon Literacy Training since 2021.
In her spare time, Claire volunteers at a local repair cafe, is a keen sportswoman, loves to travel and is currently attempting to learn French (not very successfully).
Sustainability in Learning and Teaching Lead

Kathrin joined the Scotland team in August 2022. Her role includes supporting teaching staff and sustainability coordinators to integrate Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) and related concepts into curriculum, assessment and other learning activities.
After work, Kathrin can often be found cycling, hiking and camping in the highlands, tending to her dwarf sunflowers, and enjoying a good yoga or meditation session.
Carbon Project Officer

Jenny joined the team in July 2022 as the Carbon Project Officer. She is responsible for supporting key projects such as the Concordat and providing support specifically to our FE members.
In her spare time, she likes to travel to other countries when she can, as well as practice her cooking and jiu-jitsu skills.
Communications and Governance Officer
Pronouns: she/her
Alice joined the Scotland team in January 2022. She is responsible for EAUC Scotland's communications and governance, as well as performing a wide range of other functions such as delivering Carbon Literacy Training and event planning.
In her spare time, Alice enjoys writing, cycling and weightlifting, as well as being a prolific gardener and bread-maker.
Finance Manager

Marta joined the team in October 2017 as a Finance Officer responsible for administering financial operations to meet legal requirements.
In her spare time she dances Kizomba and plays handball in an amateur team in Stroud.
Marketing and Communications Manager
Pronouns: she/her
Colleen is EAUC's Marketing and Communications Manager. Prior to EAUC, she worked in a range of community engagement, communications and campaigns roles in the charity and international development sectors. This included five years at fellow membership network, the Scottish Fair Trade Forum.
In her free time, she enjoys running, swimming and cycling.
The EAUC is governed by a board of trustee directors. As trustee they are legally responsible for the overall management and decision making for the charity. Their role is to ensure all activities are within our charitable objectives and comply with charity and company laws.
