Sustainable Buildings Manager - University of Exeter
Sustainability Team within the Finance, Infrastructure and Commercial Services Division
This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working – some time on campus and some from home.

This new full-time post is available immediately on a permanent basis.
Summary of the role
An exciting opportunity has risen to join the growing Sustainability Team and help shape the sustainability performance of a world-class institution with the aim of being a leader on the environment and climate crisis. The main purpose of the role is to champion, encourage and facilitate the inclusion of sustainability issues and climate resilience in the University’s construction and refurbishment activities. The role holder will lead on the development of appropriate strategies, policies and processes, and proactively collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure that projects and works achieve the highest levels of sustainability and deliver buildings that are resilient against climate change. The role also involves working on a range of sustainability projects and initiatives to support the delivery of the commitments in the University’s Environment and Climate Emergency Policy Statement.
The starting salary will be from £41,732 on Grade F, depending on qualifications and experience.
