Sustainability Operations Manager - University of Strathclyde

An exciting opportunity has opened to join the award-winning Sustainable Strathclyde team. As part of your role you will have the key opportunity of decarbonising the University’s built assets. You will act as a champion for building certifications, such as Passivhaus, and develop the University’s heat network digital twin. You will be responsible for contracts relating to energy, water and associated compliance schemes. You will do this with the support and collaboration of colleagues from Sustainable Strathclyde, Estates Services, Finance and Facilities Management teams.
You will have access to agile working where some of your time can be on campus and some of your time can be working from home. Our team have access to hot desking space in the heart of our city centre campus, overlooking the beautiful Rottenrow Gardens. You will have access to the award-winning Learning and Teaching building, which has first-class facilities for staff and students including coffee shops (such as Roasters), zero waste shop, salad bar, The Terrace bar and shower and changing facilities to support an active lifestyle.
