South Lanarkshire College

South Lanarkshire College is situated in East Kilbride Scotland.  This is the sixth largest conurbation in Scotland.  It is a high-performing College with attainment rates for students among the top in Scotland and high levels of students going straight into jobs and other positive destinations at the end of their courses.

The college has three buildings on its campus, two of which are low-energy, low-carbon buildings.  Both of these buildings are multiple-award-winning.  The new net-zero carbon teaching block is the first building in the UK to be rated “Outstanding” under the BREEAM (2014) standard and won a Green Gown Award in November 2016.

It has also been shortlisted for an award in March 2017.  One of the college’s 3 strategic aims is to “Promote sustainable behaviours”.
