EAUC Carbon Project Manager

Could you be the inspiration and drive behind EAUC ambitious plans to lead and empower carbon emissions reporting in universities and colleges across the UK & Ireland? You’re going to thrive in our small but dynamic organisation.

Do you have a good understanding of carbon management with project management experience? You will lead on developing a carbon emissions framework for the higher and further education sector which will then involve establishing a Science-Based Target Framework for the sector. You will be the overall project manager and will liaise with an advisory group as well as key stakeholders.

You will have a high level of demonstrable knowledge and the ability to communicate effectively with both a technical and non-technical audience. You will be instrumental in engaging with the higher and further sector to adopt the new Framework and provide support to advance carbon reduction plans in universities and colleges.
You will be flexible, self-led and able to work remotely and happy to work with colleagues to support wider organisation activities and targets as outlined in the EAUC’s Strategic Plan. EAUC is the alliance for sustainability leadership in education, and you will be responsible for inspiring our colleges and universities to take action.

You will be rewarded with involvement in a dynamic charity, generous holidays and a 12.5% employer pension contribution.
