Climate and Sustainability in the Curriculum Coordinator - University of Edinburgh

The role will include delivering a community of practice to support staff embed climate and sustainability into their learning and teaching, facilitating the sharing of best practice, resources and available support. The role will also coordinate the delivery of living lab projects for students linked to University operations on climate, biodiversity and sustainability, including the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

Your Skills and Attributes for Success:  
  • In depth understanding and experience of climate and sustainability in learning and teaching.  
  • Experience of delivering learning and teaching activities to students on climate and sustainability issues.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders from a wide variety of backgrounds.  
  • Ability to multi-task and cope with a varied workload, and to deliver accurate and high-quality work in a timely manner and often to strict deadlines. 
  • Clear willingness and enthusiasm to embrace change and help lead innovative approaches to promote climate and sustainability in the academic curriculum.
