England - Yorkshire and Humber

Welcome to the EAUC Yorkshire and Humber Regional Group

A welcome from the Convenor:

Katie Stead, Sustainability and Energy Strategy Manager, Sheffield Hallam University

Katie has been an environmental professional for 10 years, working on carbon reduction initiatives and policy development in local authorities, and energy management strategies for the NHS.

Katie joined Sheffield Hallam University in Summer 2015, where she is currently embedding sustainability into the organisation’s strategic landscape, and working towards external accreditation against the new ISO 14001 standard later in the year. Through her public sector experience, Katie realises the value which can be obtained from developing networks and identifying shared opportunities, and hopes this new regional group will be beneficial to progress the agenda within all its member organisations.

How to search for previous discussions

We know that there are many topics that come up regularly on the discussion networks so here is a quick and easy guide on how to search for previous discussions:
1. Go to https://www.jiscmail.ac.uk/ and click on ‘Subscribers Corner’
2. Click on the discussion network you would like to search – ‘EAUC-YHRegion’ is the list for this Discussion Network
3. The three ‘Latest messages’ are shown in a box near the top of the page. Click the message to read the entire post.
4. To search the list for a particular topic use the 'Search Archive' box on the right-hand side of the screen. Type the keyword/s you would like to search for and this will bring up a list of all posts containing that word/phrase.
5. You can further refine your search by adding parameters.
