WWF guide to Community Learning and Action for Sustainable Living (CLASL)

Community Learning and Action for Sustainable Living (CLASL) was a three year experimental WWF project designed to explore ways of working closely with local communities in order to define and work towards new patterns of sustainable living. It developed and tested a model for working at a local level in ways that empowered and supported the learning of community groups, with the overall aim to move towards sustainable living.

The short guide below draws on the lessons from that experimental work. It summarises the model of working effectively with community groups towards sustainable living that emerged from the CLASL project.
