WRAP is working with Government and leading private sector clients and contractors in the Facilities Management (FM) sector to identify resource and cost savings.

To help practitioners to specify and measure these savings, WRAP is developing an interactive toolkit to provide clients procuring or managing FM services with:

  • Model wording to include in your corporate policy and contract documentation;
  • Information on public procurement in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland; and
  • Standard templates to assist you in defining and managing resource efficiency targets and performance before and during contract periods.

User review

WRAP are now seeking the expert views of FM stakeholders and potential users to help tailor their approach. Your feedback on the following points will be welcomed:

  • Whether you would potentially use this information within your procurement processes, and in which FM Service areas?
  • What changes and additions you would make to the tool to make it more useful to you and/or your organisation?

Access the toolkit here

Deadline for user review: Sunday 29 April 2012

Further support from WRAP

Do you have FM contracts coming up for renewal/review? WRAP are looking to work with FM clients to explore resource-efficient FM services that deliver both cost and resource savings. Resources are available to help pilot alternative, more resource efficient approaches to FM operations. WRAP are already working with leading FM service providers to pilot new initiatives to reduce costs and drive out waste, and would love to discuss possible opportunities with you.
