The aim of this one day event is to help institutions embed sustainability into their purchasing practice using the Government’s Flexible Framework as a guide and monitoring tool. The day will be made up of interactive sessions focusing on an action plan to implement Levels 1 & 2 of the Framework. It will discuss tools, practical examples and tips to help turn this action plan into reality.

  • undertaking Whole Life Costing analysis;
  • adopting ‘quick wins’;
  • applying sustainability criteria to contracts;
  • implementing a supplier engagement programme; and
  • measuring and monitoring sustainable procurement practice.
