Sustainable Development is about ensuring that development "meets the needs of the present generation without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs." As a work-based learning provider you already have the advantage of having better links with employers and the community, giving you the opportunity to be a real leader in this field.

Be it through Train to Gain or encouraging employers to take the Skills Pledge, there is much to do to ensure that UK employers have access to employees with the skills, understanding and commitment needed to drive and deliver a sustainable economy, community and environment.

How to get the most out of SORTED

Most of the Community and Business section will be relevant to you. As the people on the ground, the toolkit to get sorted will probably the most useful to you. The Drivers for Change will be useful is you need to persuade others of the value of engaging with these key stakeholders
