Using the Union to Embed Sustainability at South Thames College
South Thames College wanted to set up a sustainability action
group
which would truly represent all parts of the college and which
itself could
be sustained.
A pilot project run by the University and College Union (UCU)
which
provided a framework and resources for the group turned out to be
the
answer for this college, resulting in better levels of staff
engagement and
involvement than previous attempts at setting up a group had
yielded
