Pershore Group of Colleges: Community and Business as an integral part of a commitment to sustainable development

The Pershore Group of college has established a strong commitment to sustainable development. Commitments cover areas including staff, curriculum, local commerce and communities and are integral to the operation and delivery of business as a provider.

The College Sustainable Development Committee has a series of task groups that monitor and develop work in many aspects of sustainable development including curriculum, procurement, local sales of produce and community work.”

The proactive approach by the FE providers towards sustainable development was recognised in 2007 when the Pershore Group of Colleges came first in the 'Colleges' category of the Green Gown Awards 2006/07.
