Green Gown Awards stage two shortlisted candidates announced!

Massive congratulations to the following colleges that have been short listed for Stage 2 of the Green Gown Awards 2010. The standard of entries was high and as always the judging was tough!

• Centre for Sustainable Fashion, London College of Fashion (Research)
• City College Plymouth (Colleges and Smaller Institutions)
• Coleg Gwent (Colleges and Smaller Institutions)
• Hull College (Social Responsibility)
• Lancaster & Morecambe College (Sustainable procurement)
• National Star College (Colleges and Smaller Institutions)
• North Warwickshire & Hinckley College (Green ICT)
• Pembrokeshire College (Carbon Reduction)
• Scottish Agricultural College (Courses and Research)
• Warrington Collegiate (Green ICT)
 

The short listed institutions were announced at the EAUC 14th Annual Conference Gala Dinner which took place at Bangor University, Wales on Tuesday 23rd March 2010. With 230 delegates present, a large majority of whom had applied for a Stage 1 category, there was a great atmosphere as the category sponsors and representatives announced the institutions going forward to Stage 2.
