10:10 is an ambitious initiative to encourage every sector of British society to cut the UK’s carbon emissions by 10% in 2010. It’s easy to feel powerless in the face of a huge problem like climate change, but by uniting everyone behind immediate, effective and achievable action, 10:10 enables all of us to make a meaningful difference.

Joining 10:10 makes your college part of the solution to climate change. Why wait? A 10% cut in the UK’s emissions by the end of 2010 is the level of cuts identified as needed if we are to maximise our chance of not triggering a climate catastrophe.
A staggering 1,550 schools, universities and colleges have already signed up to 10:10. The EAUC has also signed and the 1,550 includes a number of our members. We are already aware of some of you, including:

Aston University, Bond Bryan Architects, Cornwall College, Eastleigh College, Goldsmiths College, King's College London, Linkage Community Trust, Newcastle University, Oxford Brookes, Roehampton University, South Themes College, Staffordshire University, University College Union, University of Bristol, University of East Anglia, University of Edinburgh, University of Leeds, University of Leicester, University of Liverpool, University of Westminster, University of West of England, University of Winchester.
