Location: University of St Andrews, The Gateway
1 June 2009
Are you certain that you are complying with all the environmental legislation relevant to your institution? Can you keep up with changing thresholds, proposed laws and increasing volumes of legislation? This is a joint event organised by EAUC-S and APUC.
The aim of this event is to provide colleagues with an understanding of existing and future legislation relating to energy and utilities, including the Carbon Reduction Commitment, Energy Performance Certificates, Scottish Water's Business Stream and the forthcoming Scottish Climate Change Act. In addition, colleagues will take part in workshops on energy quick win areas, Scottish Water - areas where savings can be found and CRCs - questions, concerns and financial planning. This event is not only for estates colleagues as it also focuses on realising the cost efficiencies resulting from compliance.
