EAUC Scotland Conference 2019: The Elephants in the Room

Everyone is welcome to join the EAUC-Scotland Conference at The Lighthouse in central Glasgow in the afternoon before the Green Gown Awards ceremony to discuss some of the elephants in the room when it comes to embedding sustainability in universities and colleges. With sessions planned including setting meaningful carbon reduction targets, addressing business travel, getting a handle on procurement emissions, carbon offsetting, divestment and supporting those with climate anxiety, the Conference will be tackling some of the thorniest issues facing our sector. The afternoon session will run from 1pm, with afternoon-only delegates welcome to join for lunch anytime from 12 noon.

Add the ‘Scotland Conference 2019 – Elephants in the Room afternoon’ package when booking your Green Gown Award place to join the afternoon EAUC-Scotland Conference session.

The morning EAUC-Scotland Conference session will consider the purpose of universities and colleges during a climate emergency and in the pursuit of a more sustainable world, and include workshops to explore some more 'elephants in the room'. For more information about the morning or afternoon Conference sessions, or to book to attend for the full day, please visit www.eauc.org.uk/scotland_conference_2019.
