Embedding Sustainable Procurement within Universities - Pitfalls and Priorities; Philip Duddell, Sustainable Procurement Limited

Philip is an expert in sustainable procurement, supply chain management, circular and innovation procurement. He has advised over 40 Universities and procurement consortia as well as Governments, public bodies and suppliers within the UK and overseas, including support on contracts and frameworks valued in excess of £3billion.
He will run a discussion on ‘Embedding Sustainable Procurement within Universities - Pitfalls and Priorities’. This will consider lessons learned and practical and prioritised measures to embed environmental and social sustainability within University procurement. This is intended to be an interactive discussion focusing on current issues, such as plastics, ethical trade, systems, process and others you may need to address.
