The  next meeting of the Waste Management Topic Support Network will discuss a number of waste topics currently of relevance to Scotland's universities and colleges.

We will hear from Zero Waste Scotland on Litter Action Plans and Recycle Week, from a company taking circular economy ideas a step further and developing recycling bins out of reclaimed wood, and about FHE's performance reporting waste data within the first year of Public Bodies Climate Change Duties Reporting.

We will have a number of discussions, including on 2 vs. 4 and indoor vs. outdoor bin systems, and on biodegradable cutlery and crockery and food waste streams, and ask attendees to bring information on the price they are paying for bin bags so we can do a price comparison between different suppliers.

We will also work to develop a plan for leadership of and topics for the TSN going forward.

Please sign up to attend through the link below, and full information including room details and a final agenda will be sent to you. Please contact [email protected] with any questions about this event.
