Join us to take the next steps in helping our university and college communities engage with climate change issues. We will be progressing the introductory work from the last TSN meeting, where we discussed why people are apathetic towards climate change, and what professionals in the tertiary education sector can do about it in order to increase engagement.

From this work, we will be developing applications across HEI and FEI campuses and curricula. Participants will have the opportunity to present their own take on this subject and how it might fit into their own institutions.

Dr Catherine Happer from the University of Glasgow, a media specialist looking at climate change communication, will also provide a presentation on her work in this area.

Following lunch, we will be launching the Scottish branch of the Climate Psychology Alliance. If you’re interested in joining Julian Manley and John as office bearers, please contact John

The final part of the day will be discussing where to take climate change psychology next in Scotland – and the possibilities of a conference and CPAS meetings.

Please find the Agenda available to download from this page.
