The International Student Conference on Environment and Sustainability (ISCES) is co-hosted by Tongji University and the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP), and organized by UNEP-Tongji Institute of Environment for Sustainability(IESD).
This year, in recognition of World Environment Day, the overarching theme is "Connecting People to Nature".
Registration for the Conference is now open and will be available online from 15 March to 15 April 2017.
As an indication of their strong and on-going commitment to education for sustainable development, Tongji University, the Chair of the Global University Partnership on Environment and Sustainability will be offering 10 scholarships for excellent candidates from GUPES members: 2 in Latin America, 3 in Africa, 3 in Asia, 1 in North America and 1 in Europe. The scholarship will cover international airfare and local accommodation in Shanghai.
