The Energy Topic Support Network and APUC Utilities User Intelligence Group will meet again at the University of St Andrews with the event date yet to be confirmed.

This TSN and UIG meeting will explore low energy cooling systems as well as the new biomass district heating scheme at the University of St Andrews.

The morning will involve a presentation from J.R.F Chimney Specialists and Heat Distributors Ltd. on their Cool Phase low energy cooling solutions.

There will also be presentation on the development of the University’s biomass district heating scheme  at their Eden Campus (Previously Guardbridge Paper Mill) detailing the heat distribution network installed and the expected benefits in terms of Control of heat and carbon emissions reductions.
Together the biomass district heating energy centre will be visited in the afternoon during an explanatory tour.
