Lancaster University use SharePoint to manage and enable document control in their ISO 14001 & 18001 management systems.

Whilst not perfect, Lancaster have found SharePoint to be a quite effective system for document management, control  and tracking and ensuring all relevant people have access to the management systems.

If you establishing an EMS or other management system and are looking at potential system management and document control systems this session will outline the use of SharePoint as a potential system.

Speakers
Jon Mills has been Lancaster University’s Environment Manager Since joining the institution in 2008.  Jon has helped Lancaster develop and implement a range of sector leading environmental projects.
 
James Derham has worked with Lancaster University for 2 years following a career in the retail sector.  James works as Systems Support Officer in Facilities and has helped develop and maintain various Facilities IT systems including SharePoint.
