Waste management and minimisation

This workshop provides staff, at all levels, the opportunity to discuss with specialists how to reduce the production of waste materials in compliance with existing regulatory requirements. Specialists from the Animal Health and the Scottish Environmental Protection Agency (SEPA) will be present.
The event is free of charge for all staff from Scottish colleges and universities. The event will be of great use and interest to those with responsibility for working reducing waste (particularly those experiencing problems associated with animal by-products and composting), it is relevant to those in estates, catering, grounds and health and safety.
