Businesses and other organisations are increasingly recognising the importance of operating in an ethical, socially responsible and sustainable way.

This event will provide the opportunity for organisations of all sizes to join together to share good practice, and to learn from those that have achieved success implementing sustainable and responsible practices.

The keynote speech will be delivered by Jo Fairley, founder of UK-based chocolate company Green & Black's. This will be followed by presentations from local businesses and representatives from Nottingham Trent University's award-winning Environment and Procurement teams.

In the afternoon, delegates will be divided into workshops that match their interests. Workshops will include themes such as developing a sustainable supply chain, benchmarking and environmental indexes and sustainability.

Who should attend?

• Owners and managers of small or medium businesses.
• Those who work within professional services or student enterprise at a HEI.

The cost for this event will be £150 per delegate, with a limited number of free places available to small and medium businesses in the East Midlands.
