Speakers include

Professor Jorgen Randers, Norwegian Business School
Jorgen is professor of climate strategy at the Norwegian Business School, where he works on climate and energy issues, scenario analysis and system dynamics. Jorgen Randers has spent one-third of his life in academia, one-third in business, and one-third in the NGO world. He coauthored 'The Limits to Growth' in 1972 and its sequels in 1992 and 2004.

Laura Sandys, MP for South Thanet
Laura is Member of Parliament for South Thanet and former Parliamentary Private Secretary to the Climate Change Minister. She is a leading advocate of the low carbon economy, promoter of demand reduction policies and active innovator in food systems policies. Laura is founder of the Food Foundation and a co-founder of POWERful Women

Professor Ugo Bardi, University of Florence
Ugo’s work is mainly directed to systemic studies of the world’s economy with a special view on the role of mineral resources. He works in collaboration with institutions such as FAO, the Club of Rome and The Association for the study of peak oil. Ugo is author of more than 160 papers in international, peer reviewed scientific journals.

Dr Chris Tyler, Parliamentary Office of Science and Technology (POST)
Chris is Director of the UK's Parliamentary Office of Science and Technology. He joined POST in 2012 having spent the previous two years as Executive Director of the Centre for Science and Policy (CSaP) at the University of Cambridge. Before that, Chris worked at the House of Commons, where he was science adviser to the Science and Technology Select Committee.
