Background

Waste Management TSN looks at the responsibility placed on all those involved in the management and disposal practices within an institution for waste in a manner that does not harm the environment, whether this is through the minimisation of waste produced and its pollution or an improvement in the uses made of the existing waste. The FHE sector has a huge role to play in promoting and achieving sustainable development and can play a major part in reducing impacts on the environment and resources by using more efficient manufacturing processes and producing less waste.
