The Waste Awareness Course (WAC) was developed by the Chartered Institution of Waste Management (CIWM) to give an introduction to waste for those people who deal with waste management for their organisations. Waste is a resource we do not use effectively. Improve your understanding of:

- Waste minimisation
- Disposal techniques
- Waste auditing
Give yourself the opportunity to explore and discuss the drivers
and best practice for improved waste management and make links
with colleagues in the sector. This is a short, lively course that gives
you certification accredited by CIWM that is specific for Universities and Colleges. This is the only course which you can get sector specific training
